Authenticity & Legitimacy Verification

Establishing the credibility of organizations seeking financial support from donors.

Authenticity verification
What this service does

ILVC verifies the legitimacy and credibility of charities, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and companies that submit proposals for financial support. This service is designed to reduce funding risk by confirming that organizations are real, accountable, and operationally active.

We conduct in-depth evaluation to validate existence, legal standing, leadership structure, community acceptance, and track record. As a standard practice, verification is carried out physically on the ground, and may be conducted virtually in selected cases where access constraints exist and risk is assessed as acceptable.

Upon satisfactory evidence, we issue a verification outcome suitable for inclusion in donor due-diligence records and funding consideration.

Typical assessment activities
  • Legal status review (registration, governance documents, leadership records)
  • Operational footprint validation (program locations, staffing, facilities)
  • Stakeholder interviews (beneficiaries, community leaders, partners)
  • Evidence review (program outputs, photos, reports, beneficiary records)
  • Public credibility check (reputation, complaints, transparency signals)
